Thailand from above

This my very first article on this blog in english. So please be patient if there are some mistakes. I hope my former english teacher will forgive me 🙂

At the moment I am in Thailand for work and have to perfom some measurement flights here. I operate the systems in an Fairchild Peacemaker airplane. As there are always long fairytimes to the project area, I had some time to take pictures out of the plane.

The landscape of Thailand is almost flat, only in the north-west there are a few Mountains. Unfortunatley the air, like in most of south-east Asia, is very poluted. Thats why most of the pictures lose a lot of contrast and color. The country is far more greener on the Ground than it seems from above. The pollution is caused by the burning of fields, which is very common here. I hope my pictures will give you some impressions of this beautiful country.
